Data We Process

  • Webserver Logs: When you access our website, technical data (IP address, date, time, browser, operating system, and visited pages) are automatically stored. This is necessary for security, error analysis, and system stability.
  • Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare as a CDN and security service. Cloudflare may temporarily process IP addresses and other technical data to protect our service against attacks and improve performance.
  • Labymod Addon: If you upload screenshots through our Labymod addon, we receive the image and validate your request using a Minecraft access token. This allows us to verify your identity without requiring an e-mail address.
  • Access Token: The Minecraft access token is only used to confirm that the upload originates from your account. We do not store the token longer than required for validation.
  • IP Address Check: For security reasons, we compare the IP address of the login request with the IP address used for the upload. This helps prevent misuse of the login link.

Legal Basis

The processing of data is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) GDPR:

  • Art. 6 (1) lit. b – for providing our service and validating uploads,
  • Art. 6 (1) lit. f – for our legitimate interests in securing the system, preventing abuse, and analyzing errors.

Data Retention

Server logs are usually stored for up to 7 days and then deleted automatically unless longer storage is required for evidence in the case of security incidents. Uploaded images remain available on our platform until you remove them or request deletion.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to data portability.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at the address provided above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Analytics with Matomo

We use a self-hosted instance of Matomo (formerly Piwik) for statistical analysis of website usage. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our site and improve its performance and content.

  • No cookies are set by Matomo for tracking purposes.
  • IP addresses are stored only in an anonymized form (e.g., last two bytes removed).
  • All data is processed and stored on our own server in Germany — no data is shared with third parties.

Because Matomo operates without cookies and with anonymized IPs, no personal data is collected that would require consent under GDPR.

Minecraft Avatars via Cravatar

We use the external service Cravatar (https://cravatar.eu) to display Minecraft avatars, skins, and related images on our website. When such an image is loaded, your browser sends a request to the Cravatar servers to retrieve the corresponding file.

  • As part of this request, technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the requested URL may be transmitted to Cravatar.
  • Cravatar is operated in Germany and therefore subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and EU data protection law.
  • No personal data is stored by us in connection with Cravatar. The use of this service is based on our legitimate interest according to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in providing an appealing and functional user experience.

For more information about the Cravatar service, please visit https://cravatar.eu.
